- Cell format and layout — 18650, 21700, 32650 or 32700, in 2P, 3P or 4P
- Pattern — plain, H type, zig-zag or honeycomb, fuse or non-fuse
- Thickness and width, or the pack drawing to cut against
- Quantity in kilograms, and whether it is a one-off or a running requirement
